SPORTS ON CENTRAL

Sports on Central is changing things up in a big way! You may have noticed that we did not have our annual event hosted in downtown Prince Albert, as much as we LOVED putting on that event for this community, we found we were left wanting more. As exciting and wonderful as it was, we felt like we needed to have higher impact on the kids in this community, and seeing them once a year at a drop in style event just didn't give us the opportunity to build relationships and pour into them. That is why we have changed our style. We are moving into different types of events, hitting on different sports and activities in different ways! Up First, we are hosting a basketball camp for grades 9-12 students in and around PA! We hope to give them a day that will build their skills and knowledge of the game prior to basketball season, grow their teamwork and relationships through having teams they work with throughout the day, and of course get to enjoy the game they love with a camp tournament to end the day. Oh, and of course we're going to bless them with basketballs, giveaways, and more!

We are so grateful for the sponsors who have signed on to continue to support our event as we make this transition to a new way of doing Sports on Central. We know it's different, but we believe this is the right way for us to move in order to have the biggest impact on the kids in our community. We hope to do multiple events a year, covering a variety of sports and giving our community partners a chance to get involved every step along the way.
